“BINC, as a group, does anything to do with concrete basically,” Nick explains. “There’s no one else in Tasmania that does what we do; we’ve got every aspect of concrete covered.” Their fleet includes eight concrete agitators—two single steer and six twin steer trucks—alongside a DAF CF concrete pump. This extensive range allows them to cater to a variety of projects, making BINC Group a go-to choice for customers in need of concrete solutions.
When it comes to their fleet, Nick’s passion for Kenworth trucks is undeniable. “Why Kenworth trucks? Because Nick wouldn’t let us buy anything else!” Ben laughs, highlighting the significance of the brand in their operations.
“I’ve always loved them,” Nick shares. “My kids love them. My wife loves them…now.” His admiration for Kenworth began in childhood, as he fondly remembers his father’s truck. “There’s just something about a Kenworth truck. You just can’t beat a Kenworth. They’ve just been a proven brand,” he affirms.
Kenworths are more than just vehicles for this company; they hold sentimental value for the drivers who operate them. “Every driver is a one-driver, one-truck person,” Nick explains. Many drivers personalise their trucks, often putting unique cartoons or designs on them that reflect their personality. “It means a lot to them to have their own truck and treat it like it’s their own,” he adds.
“I just enjoy coming to work every day. There’s just something about this industry; there’s never a dull moment.”

The camaraderie between the two partners is palpable. “You’re coming to work with your best mate,” Nick continues. “You might have a bad day, so you ring up your mate, and he makes it sound all better.
